Meet Sakura From Japan

Say Kon'nichiwa (hello) to Sakura from Japan.

Sakura has long, straight, dark hair and fair skin. She loves dressing up in traditional Japanese clothes and attending festivals. Her favorite part of the festivals is playing with her friends and eating treats that she can usually only eat during specific celebrations.

Sakura loves traveling and exploring her country. She finds peace in places with natural beauty, like forests or secluded mountain paths.

In the summer, Sakura often hikes with her family. They pack a picnic basket and search for a beautiful spot they haven't visited before. Sakura always packs her swimsuit, hoping they will stumble upon an onsen. An onsen is a natural hot pool.

For Sakura, one of the best things in life is to relax her muscles (sore and tired from hiking) in a warm onsen at the end of the day.

Although Sakura mostly wears Western clothing, she enjoys celebrating her culture and heritage by dressing in traditional Japanese clothes. She is especially fond of her light-pink Kimono. It reminds her of the cherry blossoms. After all, she was named after these beautiful flowers!

When she is hiking, Sakura usually wears long pants and a light, long sleeve shirt, and hat to protect her skin from the sun. When playing with her friends, she likes to wear comfortable clothes or dresses that go 'swisssshhh' as she moves.
